Have you ever try to clean that sh*t VDO Marelli? Yep, is much more easy if you have something to drive it at home. Taking piston out, moving both ways, check for noise and so on.
Here is my "test bench"
- 1 x test board
- 1 x arduino UNO
- 2 x push buttons
- 2 x 10k resistors

When you take the unit out and rip it apart in small corner of it you`ll find IC C46CM6. That is 1KB of memory, seems to be enough to keep the “books” of that odometer ecu. So, now getting ...

Sorry, i didn`t. After adding relays, also i replaced all bulbs(high / low beam) with H1 Osram Night Breaker+ and can say there is improvement. With Xenon will be one idea better but it will move it to illegal state for driving in Finland and also the lamp glass itself has ribs what destroy the beam ...
