That is my estate audio project which was not suppose to happen. Why? Well, first thoughts was just to replace the speakers and stereo with something better and to enjoy.
The joy itself was ok but if you own Mk2 estate probably you can hear the roof over rear seats to make noises in old used bean can stye.
Why is that will show you few rows below.
Stage one was the bad - ripping all apart:

As you can see from the last image, the ceiling cover(which by the way is fabric glued over some fiber plastic) is connected via some thick silicone glue to the roof panel. That was bad for taking down. I need to use sharp knife to cut little by little starting from front and back sides. Open little, cut, then pulling carefully down with one hand and cut with other. Simple said - shit work.
And other angle:

Here ^ , pay attention about that same kind of glue applied over the horizontal under roof bars. That suppose to keep the metal together. And as result it lost the connection and the hole roof is wobbling. And when it rain you can hear the drops inside same as you do not have roof.
Next task - doors:

All that done, come the main part: Bitum and isolation

And some small troubles on the way..
